Job Requirements – Sales Officer (Heavy Equipment Parts)

1.​ Required Experience & Technical Knowledge

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in sales of spare parts for heavy-duty machinery (Excavators, Dozers, Graders, Wheel Loaders, Generators, etc.)
  • Ability to identify parts using diagrams, serial numbers, or equipment model references
  • Familiar with key systems and components: engine, transmission, undercarriage, hydraulic, cooling, and electrical systems

2. Sales Skills & Business Acumen

  • Proven track record in B2B industrial sales or automotive equipment parts sales
  • Ability to prepare and follow up on quotations, invoices, and part inquiries
  • Skilled in negotiation, pricing, and relationship management
  • Strong understanding of logistics, order processing, and delivery coordination

3.​​ Communication & Customer Handling

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Swahili
  • Strong ability to engage with clients, understand their technical needs, and offer the right solutions
  • Confident in cold calling, client follow-ups, and technical support discussions

4. Soft Skills & Personal Traits

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Results-driven and target-oriented
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Strong teamwork spirit and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment

5. Technology & Tools

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and email communication
  • Familiar with using ERP or inventory systems
  • Comfortable with WhatsApp Business, CRM, and digital communication tools

Job Requirements – HR (Human Resources Officer)

1.​ Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years HR experience (generalist experience is an advantage).
  • Experience in trading/warehouse/field service environments is a plus

2. Core HR Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment & selection (job ads, screening, interviews, reference checks, onboarding).
  • Ability to manage HR administration: employee files, contracts, probation confirmations, leave, attendance, disciplinary records.
  • Good understanding of Tanzanian labour laws, employment contracts, and workplace compliance.
  • Experience handling performance management (KPIs, appraisals, targets, improvement plans).
  • Ability to support training & staff development (training plans, product knowledge sessions, internal policies).
  • Basic knowledge of payroll inputs (timesheets, deductions, allowances, advances), working closely with Finance.

3.​​ Policies, Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Ability to draft and implement HR policies & procedures (code of conduct, leave policy, disciplinary process, overtime, HSE awareness support).
  • Strong employee relations skills: conflict handling, grievances, disciplinary hearings, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with HSE culture support (toolbox talks coordination, incident reporting basics) is an added advantage

4. Tools & Systems

  • Strong Excel skills for HR tracking (attendance, leave, headcount, recruitment pipeline).
  • Comfortable using HR/payroll software (Zoho People or similar is an advantage).
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills (weekly/monthly HR reports).

5. Communication & Personal Attributes

  • High integrity and confidentiality (critical).
    Excellent communication in English and Kiswahili (written and spoken).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with deadlines.
  • Professional, firm, and fair when enforcing policies.
    Team player with the ability to support both office and field teams.
